Aldas & LABC
Aldas in conjunction with the LABC (Local Authority Building Control) created a unique half day practical training event. Attendees were able to practice using Airtightness tapes, grommets and other sealing products with a group of experienced trainers/sealers on hand to direct and coach them.

This training promoted effective airtightness delivery and was designed to give attendees the skills and background knowledge on challenging sites, whether they were large contractors, smaller builders or are even self-builders and home owners.
This course encourages the massive growth in robust airtightness sealing and ancillary skills that is needed if the UK is to have any chance of achieving it’s zero carbon targets.
Delegates were led through multiple workshops using different Airtightness demonstrators and were hands on with many different products from a range of manufacturers. The experts gave presentations throughout and then the expert panel ended with a Q&A session
